This is the status of the car just before I joined the Army. After which, its wheels were pulled and the car was set on blocks in my Mom and Dad's backyard where it sat under tarps for over 7 years. A safe corner in the back yard and new tarps every season (thanks Mom & Pop!!) preserved the car until I could get back to it.
